My kids found one in our pool. We live in Ste Anne, Manitoba near Winnipeg. About 3 inches long. It is the middle of May. ICK!!

I wouldn't let them handle these bugs, but having giant water bugs around isn't any real threat to their safety.

Agreed. You're right - many of these graphs only show a subset of the data (and probably only those that support a certain view). Tough to summarize an extremely complicated thing (our economy) with simple charts :)

That graph shows the share of the total tax revenue. I'd be interested in seeing the absolute numbers as well. For example if total tax revenue goes up, but corporate tax is flat that would show a similar trend. The point is well taken though that corporate tax is not pulling it's fair share and the burden is falling on working folks with the payroll tax and the personal income tax.

Saw one of these monsters in downtown Moncton, NB tonight on my walk... at least 3 " long. It was very sluggish and inactive, as though it were dying. I took a few pics, hope to never find 1 in my house !!!!!

Found one outside our halfway house we paid a guy 37 $ 4 a pak of smokes to chew it up an swallow it. All I can say is it landed n the wrong place at the wrong time
