Did they tell you why you were moved? I'll need to remember that if we ever go and want to know how to get bumped up to the high life :)

Yes - we had a "Grand Gathering" of rooms, which means they guarantee that all four of our rooms would be next to each other. When my sister, who was the first to arrive, checked in they didn't have four room next to each other on the "regular" floors so they bumped us up.
So my advice to you: check in early in the day so that the people who haven't checked out yet don't show up as "open room" - perhaps that might help? It's only a guess at why. Probably just dumb luck.
